A European option for full-mouth dental implants overseas
For US patients considering dental implants abroad, Budapest is an option to compare with treatment at home and other destinations. Full Arch Budapest advertises €12,000 for both arches, including the agreed implant treatment, final zirconia restorations, accommodation associated with treatment visits and airport transfers.
The decision also involves two journeys, healing and access to local care. A lower treatment price is only useful if the entire plan fits your clinical needs and practical circumstances.
What does a US provider publish for two arches?
Smart Arches’ own cost guide lists full-mouth implants for two arches starting at $39,999. We checked the guide on October 23, 2026. This is one provider’s starting price, not a national average or a personalized quote.
Our €12,000 package is denominated in euros. Compare the complete written scopes before calculating a difference: diagnostics, extractions, implant system, temporary bridge, final material and follow-up can differ. We do not use a single provider’s price to promise a universal saving.
Plan for two trips to Budapest
The first treatment visit is approximately five days. Following healing at home, a second visit is needed for the final restorative phase. Its dates and duration depend on clinical progress and laboratory appointments. Fixed temporary teeth on the first trip remain conditional on clinical suitability.
Budget for international flights on both trips, a possible connection, time away from work and a companion if wanted. Check current routes, entry requirements and airline policies for your itinerary. Travel clearance after surgery is an individual clinical decision.
Aftercare in the United States
Before committing, find out whether a local US dentist can maintain the proposed bridge and implant system. Ask what records they need and what routine or urgent appointments could cost. A US partner or included local treatment is not part of the advertised package unless separately confirmed in writing.
Request a procedure summary, relevant imaging, implant and component details and a written follow-up plan. Clarify who handles a damaged temporary bridge, a bite concern or suspected implant problem while you are at home.
Insurance, payment and currency
Do not assume your health or dental insurance reimburses treatment outside the United States. Ask the insurer directly about your specific policy, preauthorization, required documentation and any subsequent care at home.
ECB conversion figures in our planner are reference estimates. Bank conversion charges and payment-date rates can change the dollar amount. Confirm payment stages, cancellation terms, accepted methods and the exact clinical scope before making financial or travel commitments.
Verify the clinic, surgeon and treatment scope
Treatment is provided at Petőfi Dental in Budapest with Dr. Mohammadhossein Kazerooni as implant surgeon. Bence Csillag is your international coordinator. Check the clinic, professional credentials and records independently; an EU location alone does not establish clinical quality.
Use the CDC’s medical tourism guidance to prepare questions about continuity of care, records and possible complications. Discuss alternatives with a dentist who can assess you in person.
