A restoration has more than one material
The tooth-coloured part of a bridge may be zirconia or layered ceramic. Underneath it, connecting components or a framework may use metal. “Zirconia teeth” does not necessarily mean an entirely metal-free treatment.
Your included final restoration
The €12,000 package includes final fixed zirconia restorations for both arches according to the agreed plan. The specific construction, connections and support are determined for your case.
Different ways to build a bridge
A zirconia restoration may be mainly monolithic or include additional ceramic layering. Metal-ceramic uses a metal framework covered with ceramic. A titanium-supported zirconia design combines a supporting structure with a zirconia restoration.
The right choice depends on the restorative space, bite, appearance, maintenance and repair considerations. No one material removes the need for careful design.
Questions to ask about your final teeth
- Is the zirconia monolithic, layered or a combination?
- Which parts of the restoration are titanium or another metal?
- How will I clean beneath the bridge?
- How are fit and bite checked?
- What happens if a tooth surface chips or a component needs service?
