The difference between four and six implants
All-on-4 and All-on-6 describe ways of supporting a complete arch of fixed teeth with four or six implants. Both need a bridge designed for the available support. The count describes implants in one jaw; it is not the number of replacement teeth.
All-on-4® is Nobel Biocare’s named concept. Our full-arch package does not promise a particular branded protocol. Your written plan identifies the actual implant system, number, positions and restoration.

Why implant distribution matters
Implant number is one part of the design. The amount and location of bone, the spread of implants, bridge extensions, bite, available space and opposing teeth also matter. The ITI consensus recommends planning the final prosthesis together with the surgery.
Ask why the proposed design suits your upper and lower jaws. A plan using different numbers in the two jaws is not necessarily inconsistent; the anatomy and restoration may differ.
Do more implants guarantee a better outcome?
A higher count does not itself establish suitability or a better outcome. Additional implants require appropriate bone and useful positions. How the plan is chosen also depends on future complications, access for cleaning and repair options.
When teeth remain, preservation and other restorative options should be discussed before extraction is agreed. A marketing label should not decide whether otherwise maintainable teeth are removed.
Compare the whole quote
A four-implant price with an acrylic final bridge cannot be compared directly with a six-implant plan and a zirconia restoration. Check temporary teeth, final components, diagnostics and aftercare in both proposals.
The Full Arch Budapest advertised package is €12,000 for both arches, with the actual implant plan confirmed after assessment. Ask Bence to explain the scope and any requested system with different commercial conditions.
